The 133 members of Congress represent half of the number needed for the resolution to advance. The goal is to repeal the monstrous, unconstitutional healthcare bill before the November elections.
As one might expect, the petition signors are divided along party lines. In Minnesota, the three Republican representatives, Michele Bachmann (6), John Kline (2) and Erik Paulsen (3) have signed the petition while the five Democrat representatives, Tim Walz (1), Betty McCollum (4), Keith Ellison (5), Colin Peterson (7) and Jim Oberstar (8) have not.
Though we don't expect much to change here in Minnesota, it wouldn't hurt to contact your representative and urge them to support it if they are not and praise them if they are. If you are unsure of who your rep is or how to contact them, you can find your rep's contact info HERE.
